The Parish notice board is moving to the side of the Village Hall

The Council has entered Stanwick for the Northamptonshire Best Village of the Year competition. The judging panel has visited the village and the results of the competition will be announced at an awards evening in July.

May 2012 PARISH PLAN QUESTIONNAIRE The questionnaire has been delivered to every home in Stanwick. These will be collected during week commencing 21st May. The data from the questionnaires will be analyised and the results published later in the year.

It is vitally important that all Questionnaires are returned. If you miss your collection, it can be returned to the Village Hall where there is a collection box.

In addition you can complete a 'Have your Say' card in the Village Hall lobby to supplement the information you give in the Questionnaire.

May 2012 The Parish Council has commissioned a commemorative plaque to permanently mark the Diamond Jubilee of The Queen. It has been built next to the Village Hall and the design is in keeping with the limestone walls that feature strongly in Stanwick.

May 2012 Contractors have been working on Parish Fields to remove the asbestos left from when the site was a working farm.

Saturday 19th May the Council will be undertaking a visual and manual inspection of the memorials at the Cemetery and St laurence church yard. If you would like more information, please contactthe Parish Clerk.
